The Downtown Ministry works like this: On the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, volunteers prepare a hot meal on Sunday morning, which is then taken by volunteers to Phoenix Park in downtown Lexington just after noon. Those who wish to serve downtown can get a ride there, pray, serve food, and just get to know members of our homeless community who need the love of Christ.
